In this blog, you'll learn how to operate the system, what to do in the event of a malfunction, and how to depart safely.
What should you keep in mind before you start?
Levelling is quick, but a brief, proper preparation is essential. Skipping this step risks damage to the system or an unsafe situation. So take a minute before activating the levelling system for your caravan, motorhome, or mobile sales vehicle, and pay attention to the following points:
- Park on asphalt, concrete, or another firm surface, and avoid soft or uneven ground.
- Bring the vehicle to a complete standstill, put the gear in N or P if you have an automatic, and apply the handbrake.
- Start the engine before you begin levelling.
- Check that nothing is lying under the chassis that could block the legs as they extend.
- Make sure the 12V battery is fully charged.
- Keep children and pets at a safe distance during levelling.

Experiencing a malfunction? Here's how to handle it
A malfunction is annoying, but in most cases it can be resolved quickly. If the system is unresponsive, always check the fuse and battery voltage first. If one leg is not responding, remove any obstacles and clean the leg if necessary. If the system stops halfway, fully recharge the battery and try again.
If the remote control is not working, use the emergency operation kit that is supplied as standard. Do not use an electric drill for this. Using the hand crank, a ratchet with a size 12 socket. you can manually retract the legs and drive on safely. If the problems persist, please contact an authorised installer.
Press the button and enjoy
Whether you're heading off on holiday or serving customers, stress shouldn't be part of the experience — enjoyment should. You now know exactly what to do on every arrival. No surprises, no questions, and no worries about operating the levelling system. The only things left are a destination and a cool box full of good things, or a pitch with the first customer of the day.
